90’s Squier Fender Stratocaster with many upgrades
90’s Squier Stratocaster with many upgrades including 70’s style big headstock
This Squier Stratocaster shows little evidence of being what it once was. The body is 1 ½” thick, making it an Affinity body. The markings within the heel slot show that this was a 1992 body.
The big 70’s style headstock has clearly had a new transfer applied to imply this is a Fender Strat. The trapezoid tuners are from the 1990’s.
The neck has 21 frets and a rosewood fingerboard. It’s dated 25th July 2000 on the heel.
The bridge appears to be from a “Standard” model with a string-through version. This guitar has a 3-ply black pickguard with the correct 11 holes. Three AlniCO pups fitted with covers and a 5-way switch.
Cheaper Squier strats are available but this one is well sorted. It’s got a bigger, well rounded sound than the current Squiers and the neck is fast.
Supplied with a hard case
