Revelation RJT-60 Jazzmaster guitar. Immaculate & still with tags
Revelation RJT-60 Jazzmaster guitar. Immaculate & still with tags This Revelation RJT-60 jazzmaster guitar draws some of its design from the famous Jazzmaster guitar. “Revelation” was bought to the UK by Hohner in the 1990’s. Alan Entwistle breathed his magic on this model (as he did with the Hohner JT60). Unfortunately, Hohner changed plans for their production and the Revelation models were left out to dry for a while. In May 2010, there was a company ownership change and the Revelation models were revived. Fortunately, they still enjoy Alan Entwistle’s involvement. This particular guitar was made on 20th July 2015 and appears to have had almost no use. The plastic still covers the pups and covers. The hang tags are still attached to the headstock. Although this Revelation RJT-60 is almost new, it still has that vintage look with the chicken-head control switch and cream / Fiesta Red colour combination. It has an all Alder body and a Canadian Maple bolt-on neck with a Rosewood finger board. Even though the body is fairly light, it resonates well. The fretboard is nice to play with a lovely smooth action. The Entwistle electronics are in-fact single coils (even though they look like humbuckers). As they are designed by one of Britain’s most respected designers, you’d be right to expect something unusual. For example, there’s a 3-way switch to select between the pickups, or have them combined. You can select the bridge pup for brightness, then use the 5-way switch to blend the tone of the neck. There’s a whole variety of tonal options available. I’m offering this Revelation RJT-60 Jazzmaster guitar at a bargain basement price. The RRP is £249. Save yourself a bundle of cash. Everything works as it should.
