An Exceptional 1930s Cabart a Paris Junior Oboe in original case with reeds
An Exceptional 1930s Cabart a Paris Junior Oboe in original case with reeds
This is an unusual oboe. It dates from the 1930’s. It was made by the original Cabart a Paris Company. They produced instruments from 1863 – 1944. Later instruments labelled “Cabart” were of lesser quality.
The quality of this oboe is outstanding. The wood is without any splits. The corks and pads are in very good condition and the silver-plated keys all work as they should.
All 3 sections match. The bell has the Cabart a Paris galleon trademark symbol. The serial number (GG125) is on 2 sections.
Overall length: 22” (56cm)
While this Cabart a Paris Junior oboe is good for a student / intermediate player, it is likely to be bought by a collector because of the condition
