52 Reissue Fender Telecaster made in Japan 1985 with hard case

52 Reissue Fender Telecaster made in Japan 1985 with hard case

52 Reissue Fender Telecaster made in Japan 1985 with hard case This guitar was made at the FujiGen plant, Japan, in the period just after CBS sold Fender. The only option open for the new owners to continue production was to get the Japanese to make them while the new factory was being built in the USA. Fortunately, the Japanese produced very high quality guitars. This is one of those high quality ’52 reissue Fender telecasters. It was made in 1985/86 as it has the 4-bolt neck plate without any inscription (earlier ones has Fender or a big F on them) Being a faithful ’52 re-issue, it has the slotted vintage Kluson-style tuners and a vintage bridge with three brass saddles. The body is made of Ash and the Maple neck is the U shaped version. Condition: Considering that this 52 reissue Fender Telecaster was made over 30 years ago, it’s in very good condition. There is very light buckle rash on the back. There are 2 chips on the body. One is on the lower part near the jack plug and is 1cm long. The other one is on the back and near the top-right side. The back of the headstock has a small round mark about 2cm dia where the lacquer has been affected. At first glance I didn’t even notice it. The neck is smooth and the electrics all work as they should. Treat yourself to a vintage fender telecaster that won’t break the bank. It is supplied in a period (but not Fender) hard case
