Westone Spectrum ST

1980’s Westone Spectrum ST x135, Matsumoku made guitar

This is one of the sought after Japanese Matsumoku made Westone Spectrum ST’s. This ST X135 was built around 1985. It all works as it should and produces a great tone although it does have quite a few paint chips and scuffs to the body. The neck and headstock are good though. The Black, White and Red models were first produced in September 1985 and were no longer in the Westone price list in 1988. So this one was part of a short production run and is becoming very collectable. This is a great opportunity to own a ‘80’s vintage guitar. A rare, high quality, guitar from Japan. Please see all of the images as they form part of the description. The original spec is:
  • Standard X135 description;
  • Body and neck are maple

  • 22 nickel silver frets
  • 25.5 inch scale, with graphite nut

You’re very welcome to come and try it before you buy.
